TAPS

Day is done, gone the sun
from the lake, from the hill,
from the sky.

All is well, safely rest. God is nigh.

Thanks and praise for our days
'neath the sun, 'neath the stars,
'neath the sky.

As we go, this we know. God is nigh

Special Message to Major Siercks' Children

The flag which draped your father's casket was presented to your Mother after the funeral, which she then donated to the cemetery for the Avenue of Flags. It is flown with others on such special days as Veterans Day. Your Mother felt it was a fitting tribute to your Father and that he smiled down on her with pride and love.
